Jimi's Back

Jimi Alexander returns to Cardiff for a live show in December with a new slightly re-vamped Satellites. Jimi says the new line up gives the music more of a 'band' sound, but overall the alt country goodness is still very much at it's heart. Tickets for the show at the Globe 16th December are on sale now.

Gruff new album & tour

Gruff Rhys will be releasing his 3rd solo album in February. A track from the album "Shark Ridden Waters" is available at www.gruffrhys.com. In the meantime he will be doing a series of dates in November:

Loudon Wainwright lll returns to St David's Hall in Cardiff 11th May next year. Loudon Wainwright is father of Martha & Rufus Wainwright and earlier this year won a Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album with "High Wide & Handsome".

Former Marillon singer Fish will be playing a rare Welsh date when he plays the Globe in Cardif 8th December. Fish has a new studio album due provisionally entilted "A Feast of Consequences".

Jonny Be Good

Euros Childs has teamed up with Norman Blake from Teenage Fanclub to form Jonny. The pair have been recording and are releasing an EP in November entitled 'Free EP'. They will be touring in 2011 including a date at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff 8th February.
